Scandal – Wow Olivia Pope & Associates consistently has me wanting more! HONESTLY this is hands down my favorite show on television right now. I can’t say more because I know I have a family reading this right now and they’re probably 2 seasons behind me.

Sons of Anarchy- not my absolute favorite but I have had dreams of husband and I joining the M.C – can’t wait to see if Tara lost it this past week or not.

Parenthood- Not much to say here besides I’m still with it.

Etim Blanc 2011- dry/white. In my opinion it’s an everything wine. Good for all occasions. Not an economy wine but it won’t break the bank either.  In my opinion it was smooth but husband gagged.  I must have a more elegant taste.

So three weeks or so I was at T.J Maxx and while in the check out lane I impulsively grabbed a candle by Village Candles called Campfire Tales and it is absolutely the most fantastic. Think s’ mores and warmth in a candle and thats this candle.
It’s awesome but the bad news is it doesn’t officially hit the shelves until 2014.

The end.

Every year on November 16th (husbands birthday) we put up our Christmas tree. People say that’s early but we feel like its perfect timing. Putting up the Christmas tree is a lot of work. Why only allow yourself to enjoy it for only 25 days?

We dont put up the tree early with the mindset of skipping Thanksgiving or even to rush through the holiday season. We do it to enjoy it even longer. We truly appreciate all the meaning of Thanksgiving and plan to celebrate it all the same. We’ll just be coming home to our beautiful tree in between now and then too 🙂

“I wrote this review as a part of a Blog Friendly PR outreach campaign for, I was compensated for me time but all opinions are my own.”

Recently I was given the opportunity to try out the services of To be honest mainly I decided to try them out with the intent of doing the envelope system with a twist. I actually REALLY thought the services offered by were very practical and for many very useful! Why would I want to use a card from instead of my regular debit card from the bank? Well for me it was simple. The money in the bank is like a train station. It arrives there from husband and I working and then we shift it into other accounts. I.E savings, vacation, car, home, insurance and of course…. PAYING BILLS! Mentally I have an aversion to removing money from that account. I like to have it in it’s own individual place. Not to forget,  the “Where’s Waldo” design I was able to choose was just really fun :D. In my opinion the services offered by would be very beneficial to anyone who likes to do the envelope system but would rather not have to carry cash, college students who are being sent money from home, anyone traveling or even just as your every day banking account.

Overall I found the services and benefits of to be beneficial. I don’t plan to continue using them exclusively at this point but may consider it later.

I chose the Where’s Waldo design for my card! Check out the awesome options and let me know which you choose!

Cuisinart CI22-24CR Chef’s Classic Enameled Cast Iron 10-Inch Round Fry Pan, Cardinal Red

So with the holidays quickly approaching I thought I’d start sharing some of my favorite things that in my opinion would make terrific holiday gifts.

With that being said I thought there would be no better place to start than with my new favorite skillet that just so happens to be on Amazon for half off! I recently purchased this skillet (in cardinal) and have found it to be a great pleasure. I love cast iron for many reasons but #1 would have to be the fact that it can be used in the oven or stove-top and #2 being that cast iron cooks everything evenly. I urge you to click fast and buy this skillet for the cooker in your life. I look forward to adding many more cast iron pieces to DelaneyLand.
